Been in Dallas since Monday on business. Supposed to be in Monday morning, out Tuesday night, but last night's lurvely weather stranded us here. Booked to head out around noon. And so I sing...
Show me the way to go home
I'm tired and I want to go to bed
I had a little drink about an hour ago
And it went right to my head
Whereever I may roam
On land or sea or foam
You will always hear me singing this song
Show me the way to go home

You're going to need a bigger boat.
I've been to Dallas. I'm not sure they've invented weather bad enough to keep me there. My sympathies, man.
Good luck getting out of there!
Don't do that!! Don't get that song in my head pllleeeeezzeee. I'm still scared of that fucking shark.
Glad to see you keeping your pecker up. It cracks me up when people at airports get all bitchy about weather delays. "You're right, dude, we should just GO. Fuck all them storms." I hope you didn't have to wait in the airport, though I imagine you'd rather do that than experience the glorious feeling of sudden 200-foot drops in heavy turbulence.
There's a lot of candy in airports.

LOL! I don't know why, but I busted a gut over that :-)
Hope you're home safe now, Kos!
Well as long as you're stranded, this is a good time for you to go and find the top airline people and have a little talk with them about how your mom is coming to Denver for a visit in just 15 days and she expects everything to go perfectly with her flights, and that this is simply nonnegotiable. Report back to me after you've met with them so I can approve or disapprove any of their ideas. I'd like them in writing, please, but notarizing isn't necessary.
